Does any one else remember the days before everyone wanted to make money via social media marketing and they just blogged or hung out on myspace for the fun of it? It seems like a lifetime ago now.
Not that I think it’s a bad thing, I actually think it’s great that regular folks like me can sit at home earning a little money doing what we love to do. Some people even make enough money via their blogs, twitter and other outlets that they consider it their full time job.
I have personally been working with a company called Izea for around 4 years now and have made a pretty penny thanks to them over that time. I have several blogs in their various systems and I also make money via twitter thanks to their Sponsored Tweets platform. My favourite of the Izea marketplaces is probably Socialspark, it’s their premium marketplace and high quality, high traffic blogs are compensated very well and one of my other sites, RealityTVFan.org, is one of the highest rated blogs in that marketplace – of course they’ve decided to kill off Socialspark and replace it with a new updated version where I don’t get any work, which is just my luck huh?
Overall Izea and social media marketing in general have been very good to me
